Bald Cypress

The Bald Cypress is a deciduous conifer, meaning that it drops it's needles every fall and grows new ones each spring. While their native range is south and east of Colorado, the Bald Cypress has proven to be a hardy tree for this area. Although the Bald Cypress is suprisingly drought tolerant, it thrives best in wetter areas.
